Two mining tramways carried passengers while traveling the urban part of the line [Beaconsfield Tramway & Zeehan Tramway] Passengers were carried for free thus, no passenger tickets no parcel tickets have been recorded
The Beaconsfield and Zeehan tramways carrying passengers for free is anecdotal and is yet to be verified.

Melbourne & Metropolitan Tramway
For carriage of Newspapers only to suburban newsagents
1937 [also reported 1942] no watermark. Perf 11¾ pva gum. Sheets 2 x 6 with left selvage. Sold to newspaper houses only. Parcels charge to 28lbs was equivalent to an adult fare for the distance the parcel had to be carried. As adult fares ranged from 2d to 7d any combination of the three values could be used. Parcels over 28lbs were charged double.
