The judging papers linked on my home page have been published quarterly in the 'Asia Pacific Exhibitor' [Australia] from February 2003. These papers are overviews of each of the Australian states revenue and railway issues.

Due to continuous editing errors in the 'Asia Pacific Exhibitor' [founded as 'The Australian Exhibitor']  the journal of the interNational Association for Philatelic Exhibitors 'NAPE'. I have felt the need to set the record straight.

But I must first, say a big thank you to those of you who have understood and supported me in getting the correct information to the judges.

In the August 2006 edition of NAPE the editor Charles Bromser has chosen NOT to publish a letter I sent to the NAPE editor regarding the last issue [Aug 2006] which published New South Wales Part 1 incorrectly.

Here is the unpublished letter to the NAPE editor Charles Bromser :

"In my series of papers on “Lets Teach the Judges how to Judge Australian States Revenue and Railway Parcel Stamps” during the last 3 years, I have had ongoing conflicts with the editor, who I feel although does a great job in the finer details, continues to print my papers with his own additions to my work or changes some of my words and in some cases complete sentences which lead to incorrect information getting to the judges. This will not help the exhibitor, only cause problems. In my last paper on New South Wales revenues [Part 1. May 2006] a complete section has been taken out, and paper colours changed after my final acceptance of the master draft. I feel I have no option but to stop writing for the Asia Pacific Exhibitor as my name is now attached to this incorrect and in some cases incomplete work, with refusal of requested erratum’s throughout the series. For those of you interested I will complete this work on my web site: http://www.users.bigpond.net.au/dave1/index/ and I urge all judges to work off my web site pages rather than the papers printed in the Asia Pacific Exhibitor.
